Pricing & payment

What it costs

How much does a website cost?

Websites are £50 per month — and that includes the design, the build, every future update you want, and ongoing SEO and Google support. No four-figure upfront bill, no surprise invoices. If you'd rather pay once for a one-off build and own it outright, that's available too — just ask. You can also estimate your cost with the calculator.

What does £50 a month actually include?

Everything a small business needs: your website designed and built, unlimited updates whenever you want changes, hosting, an SSL certificate, and ongoing SEO and Google Business Profile support. One monthly price, one developer handling it all — you never have to touch the website yourself. See exactly what's included.

Is there an upfront cost or setup fee?

No. The £50/month plan is designed so there's nothing to pay upfront — no deposit, no setup fee. You start getting a professional website without a big bill landing at the worst possible time, which is exactly when most new businesses need to protect their cash.

Can I pay once and own the website outright instead?

Yes. If a monthly plan isn't for you, one-off fixed-price builds are available — you pay once and own it. Most small businesses prefer the monthly option because it spreads the cost and includes ongoing updates and support, but both are on the table. Here's an honest look at pay-monthly vs buying outright.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

The monthly plan is a rolling arrangement, not a long lock-in. The full terms — including how ownership works and what happens if you leave — are set out plainly on the terms page so there are no surprises.

The process

Building your site

How long does it take to build a website?

Most small-business websites are ready in one to three weeks, depending on how many pages you need and how quickly you can get me your content and photos. You'll get a realistic timeline upfront, and you'll see progress along the way rather than waiting in the dark. More on how long a build takes.

Do I need to provide the text and photos?

It helps, but it's not all on you. If you have text and photos, great — if not, I can help shape the wording and work with what you've got. The goal is a site that sounds like your business, without it becoming a homework project you never finish.

Will my website work on phones?

Always. Every site is built mobile-first, because most of your customers will find you on a phone. It'll look sharp and load fast on mobile, tablet and desktop — never a shrunken desktop site squeezed onto a small screen.

Can you redesign or fix my existing website?

Absolutely. A lot of my work is rebuilding tired, slow or non-mobile-friendly sites into something modern that actually brings in enquiries. If you're not sure how yours is doing, run it through the free website health check and you'll see exactly what's holding it back.

After launch

Ownership, SEO & support

Who owns my website and domain?

You do. Your domain is registered in your name and stays yours, and the website is built for your business, not rented from a locked platform you can never leave. The terms page spells out exactly how ownership and transfer work.

What happens after my website goes live?

On the monthly plan, I keep looking after it: unlimited updates, security and hosting handled, and ongoing SEO. Need a new page, a price change or seasonal update? Just message me and it's done — you're not left to maintain it yourself or pay per change.

Do you do SEO and help me get found on Google?

Yes — it's built in, not an expensive add-on. Every site is made to rank, with proper page structure, fast loading, and local SEO and Google Business Profile setup so people in your area actually find you. SEO takes time to build, but it's working from day one. Here's how long SEO takes and what local SEO is.
