A bespoke website for £49.99 a month.

Design, build, unlimited updates and ongoing SEO — all handled by one Essex-based developer, for one simple monthly price. Serving Essex, Kent, London and the whole UK.

Most small businesses face the same two bad options: a four-figure agency bill up front, or a DIY website builder that never quite looks right and eats your evenings. There's a third way — and it's how I now build most of my sites.

£49.99 a month. Everything included. I design and build your website from scratch — bespoke, hand-coded, fast — and then I stay on it. Want new photos up? A price changed? A new page for a new service? A seasonal offer? You message me and it gets done. No quote, no invoice, no "that'll be another £150". It's your website with a developer permanently attached.

If you've been searching for affordable web design or even cheap website design, here's the honest distinction: cheap usually means a template with your logo dropped in. Affordable should mean the real thing — a bespoke, hand-coded site — priced so a small business can actually say yes. That's what £49.99 a month is: not a cut-down website, a fair way to pay for a proper one.

What's included

  • A bespoke website, designed & built from scratch — no templates, no page builders, mobile-first and quick.
  • Unlimited updates — content changes, new pages, new photos, whatever you need, whenever you need it.
  • SEO built in and looked after — technical SEO, structured data and local search set-up, plus ongoing help so it keeps working.
  • Google Business Profile support — the thing that actually gets local businesses found on Maps, handled with you.
  • A direct line to your developer — WhatsApp, call or email. One person, no ticket queue.

Why pay monthly?

Because websites aren't a one-off purchase — they go stale. The typical route costs £1,500–£5,000 up front, then a maintenance fee where every change is billed on top, so the site quietly fossilises because nobody wants another invoice. At £49.99 a month your site launches without the big bill and then keeps evolving with your business — which is also exactly what Google rewards: sites that stay fresh.

Who it's for

Small businesses that want a serious web presence without the agency price tag — trades, food businesses, salons, clinics, event companies, garages, local services. I'm based in Essex and work with businesses across Kent, London and the whole UK, all handled remotely.

No lock-in — and what you own

Worth being straight about this upfront, because a lot of people have been stung before. Your domain name is yours. You buy it, it's registered in your name, and you can take it back at any time — no notice, no charge, no argument. I'll never hold your web address hostage, and you shouldn't accept it from anyone who would.

There's no contract and no minimum term. You can leave whenever you like with 30 days' notice, and your domain and all your content come with you.

After 24 months, the website itself is yours to keep too — whether you stay with me or not. Before that point you can still leave freely, but the site's design and code don't transfer, because I build it with nothing upfront and haven't yet recovered that cost. A bespoke site like yours would normally be £1,500–£2,500 to commission outright; instead it's spread across your monthly fee alongside your hosting, updates and SEO. The 24-month mark is simply where that's fairly repaid — and it's why I can offer this without asking you for a penny upfront.

If you'd rather own it outright from day one, I do one-off fixed-price builds too, with a year's hosting included. Either way, you'll know exactly where you stand — it's all written in plain English in my terms and conditions.

Most small-business websites go live within one to three weeks of starting, and you get a realistic timeline up front.

Do you help with Google and SEO?

Yes — every site ships with technical SEO and structured data built in, and the plan includes ongoing help with local search and your Google Business Profile.

Where do you cover?

Ready to get started?

Tell me about your business and I'll come back the same day with what your site could look like and when it can launch.
