A whole wedding in one link: building GuestPlanner
A complete wedding platform — website, RSVPs and a self-building seating plan in one link — with Stripe payments and venue-ready PDF catering sheets.

GuestPlanner is a product I designed and built end to end: an all-in-one wedding platform that lives behind a single link. Couples share it with their guests, and everything — a hosted wedding website, the digital invitation, RSVPs and the seating plan — is handled in one place.
The idea
Planning a wedding means juggling RSVPs, meal choices, dietary needs and a seating plan that never stops changing. GuestPlanner pulls all of that into one calm, elegant experience.
What it does
- A hosted wedding site & digital invite — a near-black, cream and gold design with Cormorant Garamond and Manrope, and real couple photos in the demos.
- Online RSVPs — per-guest meal choices and dietary requirements, so nothing gets lost in group chats.
- A private host dashboard — add, edit and remove guests, track replies, and collect song requests.
- A seating planner that builds itself — and exports venue-ready PDF catering sheets, grouped by course so the caterer gets clean per-course totals.
The build
It's a full PHP stack with Stripe payments and PHPMailer over SMTP for reliable email, plus Google Maps and Places for venue mapping and nearby hotels. It's sold as a simple one-off £29.99 with no subscription, and there's a free preview so couples can try before they buy.
Good software gets out of the way. A couple should feel like they're planning a wedding, not operating a database.
The result is a genuine SaaS product — not a template — that turns a stressful admin job into one beautiful, shareable link.
