Website Health Checker
Chrome extension · Last updated 24 July 2026
The extension only does one thing: when you click its icon, it sends the web address of the tab you're on to our website-checker service and shows you the score. No accounts, no tracking, no ads, and we never sell your data.
What the extension accesses
When you click the extension's icon, it reads the address (URL) of your active tab so it knows which site to check. That's the only reason it needs access to the current tab. The extension does not read the content of the pages you visit, does not track your browsing history, and does not run in the background.
What is sent to us, and why
When you run a check, the address of the current site is sent to our checker service at
fisher.digital so it can be assessed and scored. As with any normal web request, our server
also receives standard technical information such as your IP address, which is used only to keep the free
service fair (rate-limiting) and to protect it from abuse.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect or store personally identifiable information, names, email addresses, passwords, financial information, location data, or a history of the pages you visit. The extension contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking code.
Data retention
Check results may be cached briefly so the service stays fast. We do not build user profiles and we do not keep a personal record, tied to your identity, of the sites you check.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The only network request the extension makes is to fisher.digital.
Children
The extension is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children.
